LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Ladies, I hope your husbands enjoyed the past weeks of valentine’s treats. Your last task is to make a lasting Valentine’s Day memory. Here is a creative idea of expressing your love: Balloons!!!! – They always make a room look so festive and the dollar store is a great place to shop for them especially if you have to buy a whole bunch. I suggest you have red balloons for each year of your marriage and use white colored balloons (or your husband’s favorite color) to fill the rest of the air space; secure the end of each string to a note of encouragements, thanks, scripture promises, photos of special times, characteristics and qualities of your husband you admire. If you have little ones it will be fun if you can get them involved in the project and have them do some color filled notes for dad (Love you dad!!!, You are the greatest!!!, Happy Valentine’s!!!, ... etc.). I’m mindful of the fact that some of you have been blessed with many years of married life or the balloons idea is a little too much for you, in this case you can use candles or split the number of years between balloons and candles. These are just ideas; feel free to be creative in your own way.
I hope you enjoyed the journey and had fun. I also hope you will not wait for an occasion to express your appreciation and love. Notes of Encouragement, Praying for you, and Thanks are always well received and appreciated throughout the year. Love doesn’t have to be extravagant but consistent.
Walk with God and glorify His name.
