Day18 Praying For the Family
Father God, today I/we come before you wholeheartedly asking sincerely for your forgiveness. We have not lived up to the standards you have set for us as your children. We have failed miserably; please forgive us and wash us with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, so we can start fresh. I/We praise you for giving us the blueprint – your word, so we can live according to your will. Father, help us to hear and put into practice your word and build our house on it, so our foundation resists the storms of life. May we always turn to you when we stumble and be an example for our children so they can learn the fear of the Lord and delight in your commands. God your word promises that the house of the righteous contains great treasure, help us to withstand the constant attacks from the enemy and the pressure from the culture today. There is so much filth and temptations around us that at times it’s overwhelming and troublesome to our feeble hearts. Heavenly Father, grant us wisdom and understanding how to live in and outside of our homes. Whatever we do, say, and think may we do it as unto you. I/We also extend sincere prayers for the salvation of ______ that do not know Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior. Please touch _______ heart and may he/she believe in the Lord Jesus and be saved. God, help us to bear with one another and forgive as you have forgiven us. Teach us to put on love, patience, compassion, kindness, humility and gentleness so we are bound in unity as your scripture instructs. May we never forget to be thankful to you and one another. Lord, help us to stay in your word consistently, so we can teach and correct one another with wisdom. I/We praise you and thank you for giving us a counselor – The Holy Spirit who not only aids us when we don’t know what to pray but also ministers to our hearts and minds. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus’ name I/We pray. Amen.
Walk with God and glorify His name.
My prayer is that this will be a place where you find hope and nourishment for your soul.
