Day 15 Forgiving Others
The Lord commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven by Him. Being merciful towards those who have wronged us can be at times close to impossible, but ultimately it is a choice of obedience. Unforgiveness is sinful and self-destructive; it takes toll not only on our emotional but also physical state. Bitterness and hatred take root if we don’t pardon the ones that have mistreated us and before we realize it we end up in spiritual bondage and weakened if not ineffective prayer life. So I encourage you to be obedient and choose forgiveness. This does not mean you forget, it means you choose to be merciful by canceling the debt. The gift you receive in return is freedom from the past, healing and a new beginning. God has a miraculous way of using even the most painful experiences for something beautiful that brings Him praise and glory. Trust the Lord who gave His life for you and obey His command to forgive, so you can have more abundant life.
God please help me grasp the heavy price that was paid so I can be forgiven and able to approach your holy throne. Please help me to be obedient and forgive others when I’m wronged. At this time by your grace I choose to forgive ______ for ______. May your healing hand restore my soul, by faith I except freedom from the past and look forward to a new beginning. Lord, please use the painful experiences of _________ for your glory and praise. Dear heavenly Father, thank you for forgiving my sins, for healing my brokenness as well as setting me free through emotional wholeness. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Walk with God and glorify His name.
My prayer is that this will be a place where you find hope and nourishment for your soul.
